I survived Christmas in Marseille, France. The French Riviera is all that people say it is and more. The temptations are always present.  It's a place where money can buy anything.
MAY GOD HELP THEM!

MAY GOD KEEP YOUR HOT CHOCOLATE "HOT" AND ALL LEMONS TURN INTO LEMONADE. I PRAY THE EXPRESS LANES WILL ALWAYS. BE SHORT WHEN YOU'RE RUNNING LATE FOR AN APPOINTMENIT. MAY THE ALMIGHTY BE MIGHTY OVER YOUR ENEMIES. I TRUST GOD WILL GIVE  YOU  THE VICTORY OVER ALL NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS. BUT - MOST IMPORTANT OVER ALL OF THIS - MAY YOU WALK THE STREETS OF GOLD WITH ME ONE DAY.

CHRISTMAS IN FRANCE 2014

In France they have two seasonal greetings. One is for the believer and the other is for the non-believer.  "Joya Noela" is Merry Christmas. "Bone Fete " is for the non-believer.  This makes it easy to identify who is a  Christian or not. The Muslims are bold about their faith, thus there is fierce spiritual battle.

Some Muslim women are bold and cover their faces. This is against the law.  At those times I claim the anointing from 9/11and address the sin to the law--breaker. This falls in line with Ezek. 33 as a Watchtower. They usually walk away, without repenting. Other times I have found myself in a Muslim owned store. When I say I'm American, they get afraid. When  I talk about 9/11 there are mixed responses. Some are ready to fight.

France is a tough country. In 2005 AlQaeda tried to send another 9/11 from Paris. The authorities found a name on a passenger list who was involved in' the ground work of 9/11. Paris was on alert until Easter that year.

Mix this attitude with their monthly strikes - and you get a volatile country. In other words, France needs Jesus. I pick up in the spirit a lot of people are afraid - lack of money, sexual turmoils, terrorism, and may more cultural battles. Jesus can set them free from all of these chains of Satan. May God help France in 2015.

SALT AT CHRISTMAS

I have come to appreciate the little things while traveling around the world.  Such as rubber bands and safety pins can be a rare commodity. Once, when I missed my flight, God had me safety pin together a jumper I was sewing . This provided me with something clean to wear the next day, since my luggage was on another plane. Christmas time is no different. I've learned to make Eggnog and pallate the taste of chicken in lieu of TURKEY when the country I'm in has " no such bird." I'm not complaining.  That's sin. Just thought I'd share with you what's happening.

The blessings abound thru it all.  In the midst of all these quirks - God always has His loving hand on me. The instant satan tries to come against me , I know God wraps His loving hand around me as Elijahs' cloak around Elisha. He then goes ahead and prepares my pathway and brings me the victory in  the final outcome.

Marseille is a town for  heathens. France once was a holy country, the Lourdes  visions. But that's why I'm here.  Some days God blesses and I see answered prayer  for revival from seeds I've planted. Today was one of those days. I was in line at a register and the person behind me was getting rude. (I've visited the store before. I've even met individuals from a local church in their store.) I spoke about Jesus crying because of her actions. I included the fact His birthday was coming up and how sad to make Jesus cry on His birthday.  The cashier was quick to loudly applaud my words.

CHRISTIANS DON'T STOP BEING SALT WHEN THE HEAT IS ON.  EVERYONE LIKES A LITTLE SALT ON THEIR FRENCH FRIES.

LOVE OF JESUS AT CHRISTMAS

Christmas is a time for the love of Jesus,  not gifts. The gifts I give are handmade.  God has placed on my heart their better than the gifts you buy.  A handmade gift takes time to make. It shows the recipient you thought of them while making the gift.  It's a sign of love from the giver. A handmade gift is a form of the love of Jesus at Christmas.

CHRISTMAS WITNESS IN MARSEILLE 2014

Christmas is a time to witness. Today on the bus' God had me share that certain Bible scholars think Jesus visited Marseille. As this is a special time for Jesus-all ears were drawn to the conversation.   History shows Marseille was a  "highway" area for travelers in  Jesus' day. Jesus' uncle, Joseph of Arimethea, would probably go thru Marseille to buy tin in Wales, England. The family lifestyle was similar to present days  in certain areas. Meaning the bonding patterns were the same then as today. Jesus probably took a trip to Wales with his uncle to bond in their relationship. May you find opportunities to witness this Christmas.

Christmas can be filled with wonderful surprises for those who look for them. Today is a good example of one. This afternoon I boarded a bus and the driver recognized me from a trip before. (In the states I don't ride buses, I own a sports car.) Earlier in the week I taught myself the phrase '"Happy New     Year." I greeted the bus driver appropriately - Bon Ano." He was quick to correct me with "Bon Annie." The spelling may be wrong-I don't do French. This lead to a wonderful conversation which made the 20 minute ride a trivial thing. This blessing was all started by my poor French "Happy New Year."
